How ICSI Works:

Egg Retrieval: Mature eggs are collected from the female partner.

Sperm Selection: A single, healthy sperm is chosen using advanced microscopic techniques.

Sperm Injection: The sperm is injected directly into the egg using a fine needle.

Embryo Development: Fertilized eggs (embryos) are monitored for growth.

Embryo Transfer: Healthy embryo(s) are transferred into the uterus for pregnancy.

Types of Sperm Retrieval Methods

TESA (Testicular Sperm Aspiration)

A needle is used to extract sperm directly from the testicle.

Performed under local anesthesia.

Commonly used for men with non-obstructive azoospermia.
